Ecofreeze refrigerants (E12, E22, Eco134 and Eco404) are Zeotrope natural gas mixtures , intended to replace the R12 (CFC), R22 (CFC), R134a (HFC) and R404a as refrigerant gas in refrigeration, air conditioning and freezing. The purpose of this document is to inform the industry at large of the existence of a totally organic to the change of refrigerants in air conditioning systems, as these products do not harm the ozone layer (Zero ODP) and do not produce the GREENHOUSE effect (Zero GPO) which will provide savings in electrical energy consumption of their equipment. Ecofreeze products are the result of technological development carried out by a group of Mexican technologists Ecoenergía Group, which since 1997 has tested the operation of these new refrigerants in different air conditioners and cooling, thereby obtaining optimum results in the environmet, also has been found to be more efficient, achieving savings of up to 30% in electricity consumption. The technological development of these natural products has been solving the requirements
of a global society concerned with the conservation of their environment, so it has
global projection and has received coverage for their technical and financial depth,
the support of institutions like : CONACYT, The Ministry of Economic Development
of Nuevo Leon and The Ministry of Finance, The FIDE- The results of the thousands of applications Ecofreeze products have been consistent
in change projects traditional refrigerants (R12, R22, R134a and R404a) refrigerants
by respective Ecofreeze. These were carried out from 1997 to 2007 obtaining significant
